I have love being a part of the Atkinson Training & Development family in 2009. I’ve met some great people and learnt a lot from my trainers. We are treated like adults and respected & if we need help we can count on our trainers to help. Doing the course full time was a very busy time in my life but it was always enjoyable and I wouldn’t change a thing. I’m going to miss coming into ATD on a regular basis and would recommend training with them as a MUST for anyone looking for a career in childcare. Aimee has just completed her course and has been offered a full time position in children’s services.

Studying with Atkinson Training & Development has been very full filling and interesting. My personal trainer, Tracy was wonderful, she worked around my part time job & studies so I had time to fit it all in. The learning material was very interesting & easy to understand which made it enjoyable to read. I would highly recommend training with Atkinson Training & Development. Kris is a very experienced primary teacher who made the transition to Early Childhood Education with us. Kris is now working in Children’s Services in Early Childhood.

I found training at Atkinson Training & Development was a wonderful experience. My personal trainer, T. Manning, was very very helpful, caring and understanding. Everybody was friendly and professional. I would highly recommend training with ATD. Jonene Brandt works in children’s services full time and her qualifications through distance education whilst working. Jonene is now considering extending her qualification with additional studies with us. Congratulations Jonene!

Overall I have found this year very beneficial to my future. I have learnt so many new things both in class and out on practicum’s. From my practicum’s I gained casual work followed by a full time job for the following year. I will continue to recommend Atkinson Training & Development. Rebecca was offered two positions from work experience and is now working full time at a preschool. Congratulations Rebecca!

I have loved studying at ATD. I have had a lot of fun and met a great group of people who are interested in the same career as me. The teachers are great and help was given when needed. All in all I’ve had a fantastic year here at ATD. Sophie has just completed her course and has been offered a full time position in child care. Well done Soph!

I have enjoyed studying this year at Atkinson Training & Development. I really enjoyed the structure of the course, especially the practical experience during the course. I’m so glad I choose Atkinson Training & Development for my studies. Emma has just completed her course and is off to an island resort to work full time. Congratulations Emma.

I have loved every second of training with Atkinson Training & Development. I met some really great people, made so many long lasting friendships and learnt so much that will soon help me start my career. I highly recommend this course! Atkinson Training and Development is a fantastic way to study Children’s Services. All of the trainers (Bec, Tracy & Karen) have a wealth of knowledge about children. They have all been in the industry a long time and each of them has different teaching techniques. They cater for auditory (listening), visual (seeing) and hands on learning. Each is very supportive, caring and available to listen when you need to talk. They have many stories to for each of the subjects which makes learning easier. Jenny has been working as an Advanced Child Care worker children’s services since the completion of her course.

I have enjoyed studying at Atkinson training and Development. I was the youngest in the class however, bonded easily with everyone and made many great friends. All the tutors are so friendly and caring and are always available. I would highly recommend Atkinson’s to anyone I meet. Ashton was 17 years when completing the course. She received a 12 months nannying position in Scotland. She has returned and has been accepted into university to complete her Bachelor in Education.

I have really enjoyed the Diploma Course with Atkinson Training & Development. I personally found the trainers to be flexible, friendly and very supportive to my individual needs. The information and learning materials were thorough and easy to interpret. I highly recommend anyone who is interested in studying childcare to enrol here at Atkinson Training & Development. Nicole gained employment from her work experience, in fact was offered 3 positions!!!! Nicole has been a room leader in a long day care centre since leaving and has also joined our team as our online assistant.

I have thoroughly enjoyed being part of the Atkinson Training & Development team. The tutors were welcoming on the first day and the group mixed together well. All the staff are easy to talk to and go out of their way to help you. The learning environment is wonderful. I would definitely recommend training with Atkinson Training & Development. They cater for individual needs and are extremely caring and helpful. PS: The assessments aren’t that daunting! Love it! Alex gained employment in OOSH straight away. Alex made great use of our university mentoring program with Karen and is now in her last year of her Bachelor of Education and is an honors student. Well done Alex!

The childcare course through Atkinson Training & Development has been fun, enjoyable and very educational. I have learnt a lot about all aspects of childcare in a friendly and professional environment. The teachers are great mentors and very supportive. I would be happy to recommend Atkinson Training & Development to any future students. Annika gained employment in children’s services straight away and has been working since. Annika left to start uni in 2009 and is completing a degree in Physical Education. Great way to use your Diploma!

I have thoroughly enjoyed studying at Atkinson Training & Development. I found the teachers Karen and Tracy were very thorough in explaining the subjects we covered, and were always there to talk to if I was having any difficulties in understanding the subjects we were doing. I recommend this course to anyone interested in studying childcare. Carolyn has been working in children’s services since completing her course and is now considering up grading her qualifications to the Advanced Diploma with us which focuses on management of children’s services.

I have really enjoyed coming to Atkinson Training & Development, they really attended to my needs and questions. I have learnt so much and will treasure all the information and carry it with me wherever I go. I would recommend it to anyone, it has made me understand and relate to children so much. The teachers were so amazing and great to work with. Elizabeth loved her special needs practicum and is now working as a special needs worker at Newcastle University.
