Changes to Child Care

Hi Team,

COAG (Councils of Australian Government) held forums recently to gain opinons regarding changes to regulations  for next year. It is really important for us to give our opinions as this will affect us and our children. Below is some options that are being suggested:

• Lower staff-to-child ratio
• Higher qualifications and standards of training
• Positive nurturing relationships created with children by a stable caregiver

This is very important not only to us as childcare professionals but also as parents, friends and businesses. If you want to have your say (which you should) do so now while you can.

Admissions need to be in before August 31st and responses are due in by August 17th so do it now, do we really want quality of care of our children affected?
