Local man making a name for himself out West
Nicole on October 15th, 2009
Local man Michael Hogan has just competed in his first 1st grade cricket match for Western Australia Warriors where in his 2nd over bowled a fantastic ball to be caught by his team mate, getting the Bulls player out for a duck.
What a great way to start!!!

“Newcastle-born Hogan is a former NSW and Australian Country representative who returned to Northern District in the Sydney grade competition in 2008-09 after two seasons playing in his home town with Mereweather. Last summer was particularly fruitful for the 28-year old, as the towering quick captured 54 wickets at the superb average of 16.33, placing him fifth in Sydney grade cricket’s leading wicket takers.” (from

It took alot of courage for Mick to leave his family and friends to follow his dreams of cricket but he took a chance and now he is achieving his goals and living the dream
Lots of luck Mick, keep up the fantastic work.
