World Cup Soccer Match Live in Newcastle

Due to unprecedented demand, the 2010 World Cup LIVE screenings will move from Wheeler Place to Civic Park, King Street Newcastle. The new venue will provide significantly more viewing area for this alcohol-free event, which is suitable for all members of the family.See the Australian Socceroos take on Germany at 4.30am on Monday 14 June. Keep up the Aussie spirit and watch the boys play Ghana at midnight on Saturday 19 June, then Serbia at 4.30am on Thursday 24 June.

Members of the public are invited to bring a chair and their football memorabilia and cheer the Aussies to victory!

There are no bookings required and hot drinks can be purchased at the venue.

The 2010 World Cup LIVE screenings are being produced by L!vesites, which is jointly funded by Newcastle City Council and the Hunter Development Corporation.
