We offer a great distance program for both those working in children’s services and those wishing to enter the field. You recieve ongoing support from your individal tutor throughout your course and are able to attend our workshops free for the duration of your training.
For people with previous experience you might like to enter our distance program through RPL (Recogition of Prior Learning).
The Certificate III in Children’s Services provides a fabulous introduction to children services and is suitable for anyone considering a rewarding career in child care. Depending on the setting, you may work under direct supervision or autonomously. In some settings, you may also have limited supervisory responsibilities of volunteers.

Child Care Assistant
Family Day Carer
Nanny
Out of School Hours Care Assistant
Recreation Assistant
Unqualified Child Care Worker
Certificate III in Children’s Services is a Nationally Accredited Course which covers children 0-12 years.
Upon the successful completion of CHC30708 Certificate III in Children’s Services you are then eligible to enter the Diploma of Children’s Services.
The Diploma of Children’s Services leads directly into the 2nd year of the Bachelor of Education at university. Advanced Diploma not required.
We offer a pathways workshop to assist your entry to university as part of your course.
We also have available an ongoing University Mentoring Programme to further assist your transition to university.
All courses are competency based. You show competency in each unit by submitting assessment tasks. There are no exams.
During your course you are also assessed working with children.
Must be 16 years of age Demonstrated ability at Reading, Writing and Comprehension in English.
